The mission of the Hudson Valley Technology Development Center, inc. (HVTDC) is to be a high performance, customer oriented, continuously improving and integrated organization that is viewed by clients and investors as the premier business development group of the NY Hudson Valley Region.

HVTDC provides hands on support & growth services to small & mid-sized manufacturers & early stage technology companies by delivering high quality, cost beneficial technical & management services. HVTDC improves the competitiveness of existing small businesses & advances the development of new business opportunities through the application of innovative, cost-effective techniques and tools.

Our experienced staff includes electrical, mechanical, computer and industrial engineers and project managers who have in-depth experience in business management, new product design and development, production operations, business process analysis/improvement, grant writing and administration, management policy analysis, workforce training/development, strategic planning, organizational design, management policy and industrial engineering. The staff also includes marketing, business development and information systems professionals.

Founded in 1988, HVTDC is a non-profit organization and is partially funded by NYSTAR (NYS Empire State Development Division of Science, Technology and Innovation) and NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). HVTDC serves as the NYSTAR designated Regional Technology Development Center for the NY Hudson Valley Region and is one of nearly 350 NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) locations across the United States.
